How the digital draw works
The draw is not an opaque button. It leaves a replayable trail: list, committed seed, result, certificate.
The list is closed
Only those the case rules admit. Nobody is added after the seed is committed.
A seed is committed
The seed is recorded before the result is revealed. Another one cannot be chosen in silence afterwards.
The result enters the ledger
The draw is an act of the file, not an internal email. It is chained with the other acts.
A certificate remains
Parties may ask for the trail: who was eligible, which seed was committed, who was drawn. The certificate is not issued yet; EQUO will not run a draw with no trail.
